BEHOLD THE NEW QUEEN OF AMERICA! MISS USA 2017

It’s another Black girl magic story! as Kara McCullough, wins the 2017 Miss USA pageant.  Kara is a scientist working for the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission, who represented the District of Columbia in the decades-old pageant.
She was was born in Naples, Italy, and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She said she wants to inspire children to pursue careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Though Kara caused quite a stir on social media, with one of her answers, when asked if US healthcare is a right or a privilege?
She said – “I’m definitely going to say it’s a privilege. As a government employee, I’m granted health care. And I see firsthand that for one, to have health care, you need to have jobs, so therefore we need to continue to cultivate this environment so that we’re given the opportunities to have health care as well as jobs for all Americans worldwide,” she said. Of course, the healthcare debate is ongoing in America and Donald Trump is working to repeal Obamacare.
She beat 50 other ladies to earn the crown. Congratulations to her.
