‘Nigerians Need To Embrace Homosexuality’ – Actress Ashionye Raccah

Nigerian Actress and artist, Ashionye Michelle Raccah reprimanded Nigerians to quit discovering shortcomings in homosexuality. 


Ashionye says that has homosexuality isn't a sickness, thus the requirement for Nigerians to end victimization gay people. 

Ashionye said this to QedTV at the debut of Funmi Iyanda's film, Walking with Shadows. Talking at the debut of the motion picture which is about a hitched man whose spouse later discovered he was gay,

 Ashionye said individuals need to understand that an individual isn't made to be gay yet is brought into the world gay. 

"It's about time that we started to acknowledge each person regardless of their sexuality. I'm an individual whether I am straight or gay

 It's about time that we started to understand that we are fundamentally only one and we shouldn't pass judgment. I realize we have this multi-year condemning in Nigeria however, of course, you can't change an individual whoever the person in question is.

In the event that you are brought into the world straight, that is what your identity is. In the event that I am brought into the world lesbian, that is who I am. I didn't get lesbian. Like I stated, it is anything but an ailment.

 I have individuals near me, family and dear companions, who are really gay men and eccentric ladies and I completely love them.

 To be completely forthright, I have a great deal of male companions who are really gay people and they offer the best guidance. They love me for who I am and I totally love them for what their identity is".
