Fans RAGING At 'Distasteful' Aretha Franklin Song Choice For Controversial Star Natalie Nunn's Walk Out Hours After Singer's Death

Celebrity Big Brother fans raged at "distasteful" show bosses after they chose to play an Aretha Franklin track for hugely controversial star Natalie Nunn’s walk out just hours after the music legend’s death was made public.....

The I Say A Little Prayer singer, 76, sadly passed away following a battle with pancreatic cancer on 16 August, during the same day as the star-studded Channel 5 reality TV show launch.

Screen star Natalie’s arrival came to the sounds of Motown hit Respect came just 30 minutes into the extended episode, leaving fans furious for the rest of the night.

The 33 year old is an American reality TV star, who appeared in the fourth series of Bad Girls Club and was booted off the show following a physical fight with another contestant.

She has also appeared on other TV shows, but is famed for her fiery attitude.

Her conduct paired with the classic Aretha track did not prove a positive mix for viewers, who took to Twitter to fume about the decision of producers.

One posted: “It’s a little bit disrespectful to play Aretha Franklin's Respect on the day she died, to introduce this mouthy trash,” as a second put:

“How could they play an Aretha Franklin song for this idiot going into Big Brother. Proper shocker that.”

A third continued: “How DARE celebrity big brother use an Aretha Franklin song on the day she has passed for this t**t Natalie Nunn.”

Another fumed: “ARETHA DIDN’T DIE FOR THIS,” as one rounded off with: “Anyone else think it's a bit soon to be playing Aretha Franklin for Natalie's entrance music?”

Respect singer Aretha’s death had been confirmed in the UK earlier in the day.

The star died at her home in Detroit following an eight year fight with the illness.
