“I’m really excited about the future. I’m excited about the show. I’m in a great relationship. My kids are doing well, everything’s going really good.”
The HGTV personality is known for staying in stellar shape and isn’t afraid to show off her bikini-ready body. So, how does the mother of two (she shares daughter Taylor, 5, and son Braydon, 2, with Tarek) do it?
“The main thing is diet, so I make sure that I eat a really good, organic, clean diet,” she tells Us. “If I’m eating something bad, I just feel bad. So my thing has always been just eating well.”
The Flip or Flop star follows a diet of 20 percent protein, 50 percent carbs and 30 percent fat, which “keeps her blood sugar stable,” her nutritionist Cara Clark previously told Us.
Her go-to meals, added the pro, include overnight oats for breakfast, salad with quinoa for lunch, and vegan chili for dinner.
The 34-year old TV personality also sticks to a regular workout routine. “I work out five days a week. But most of my workouts are on average about 45 minutes.
So they’re not really long, grueling workouts. I just like to get in, get out,” Christina tells Us.
To work up a sweat, Christina looks to Orangetheory, an interval-style class known for burning up to 1,000 calories in 60 minutes.
“It’s half cardio, half weights,” she explains. “So I feel like you get a really good workout in an hour and I notice the biggest results from that.”
She also looks to her workouts as a way to de-stress. “I really love yoga,” she says. “It really just helps me relax and unwind after a stressful day.”
