Former Minister of Finance Malam Adamu Ciroma is dead. He was 84 years old.
Family sources said the elder statesman died in an hospital in Abuja today after a protracted illness.

He was also minister of agriculture and managing director of New Nigerian newspapers.
He was the assistant Sec to Sardauna and a Presidential Aspirant in 1979&1992.
