Ojukwu, former Biafra war lord, has the constitutional right to contest the senatorial ticket of APGA in Anambra South.
Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano and Member APGA BOT, Amb. Bianca Odimegwu Ojukwu Obigwe who is the National Coordinator APGA Media Warriors Forum, corrected an impression on alleged APGA crisis and noted that APGA is the most peaceful political party in Nigeria.
In his statement disclosed to newsmen, Obigwe said, “APGA as at today in Nigeria is the most peaceful political party in the Country.
“Promoters of Anambra South integrity Forum should thread with caution because APGA is not a party that will allow them to sow seed of discord in the party.
“Her Excellency Iyom Bianca Ojukwu has the democratic right to contest the senatorial ticket of APGA in Anambra South.
“Iyom is busy going round the 7 local government areas in Anambra South Senatorial zone wooing delegates to elect her as APGA candidate for the forthcoming 2019 general election”.
He dismissed all the allegations leveled against Bianca Ojukwu and cautioned those casting aspersions on the wife of Igbo supreme leader.
Obigwe stated that Her Excellency Iyom Bianca Ojukwu is not a political desperado that will want to acquire electoral power through the back door He equally said that the choice of who will fly APGA ticket in Anambra South Senatorial zone is left for the delegates to make and not the party hierarchy.
Obigwe also refuted the rumour in the social media insinuating that Senator Stella Oduah is not recognised as APGA Senator in the Senate.
He asserted that Senator Stella Oduah defection gave APGA two slot in the Senate and he further said that APGA will use the forthcoming 2019 general election to produce more Senator’s at the Red chambers.
He urged the electorates in Igbo Land to embrace APGA because APGA is the only political party in Nigeria that will lead them to the Promised Land.
He finally praised Her Excellency Iyom Bianca Ojukwu for her valued contributions to the growth of APGA and described her as a consistent character that means well for APGA and Igbo.
