Southern Govs’ Wives Storm Ogun for Summit

Fourteen wives of the Southern governors under the aegis of Southern Governors Wives Forum have converged in Abeokuta, Ogun State, for a three-day meeting.
 The event, hosted by the state government, is the fifth quarterly meeting of the Southern Governors Wives Forum (SGWF).
No fewer than 14 governors’ wives are in attendance. They include Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu (Abia), Mrs Martha Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom) and Mrs Obiano (Anambra).
Also in attendance are Dr Linda Ayade (Cross River), Mrs Edith Okowa (Delta), Mrs Rachael Umahi (Ebonyi), Mrs Feyisetan Fayose (Ekiti), Mrs Monica Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Mrs Bolanle Ambode (Lagos), Mrs Betty Akeredolu (Ondo), and Mrs Florence Ajimobi (Oyo).
The First Ladies of Bayelsa, Edo and Rivers are, however, absent.
