Banking is one of the secondary economic sectors that offers services to both the general public and companies. In today's world, banking plays a major role in a nation's economic growth. If a nation's financial system is functional, efficient, and disciplined, the economy's many sectors see rapid growth.
Reacting to the subject under review, The President of Globe Chamber of commerce and industry (GCCI) in his social media page said, “Banking and Finance is a term for matters regarding the management, creation and study of money and investments”.
“It deals with the questions of how and why an individual, company or government acquires the money needed – called capital in the company context – and how they spend or invest that money. Finance is then often split per the following major categories: corporate finance, personal finance and public finance” he added.
“We are projecting a program tagged Finance and Banking world Conference & Forum, is an institutionalized event that comprises professionals, policymakers, regulators, members of the academia, operators, and other stakeholders in the banking and financial industry” he stated
Pointing out to how the banking program will revolutionize the industry, he said, “The banking program will provide a veritable platform for subject matter experts and industry stakeholders to discuss and unanimously design a clear road map towards repositioning the banking and financial sector globally”
“The conference will create enabling environment for experts to highlight the gaps inherent in the banking and financial industry and provide new solutions to ailing economy especially the banking and financial industry”, he added further.
“it is obvious that finance and banking is just as crucial to your company's success as anything you could ever think of. Business and Organizational leaders must have a clear perspective of all financial activities taking place within their organization or business, and they must also engage in planning for the effective use of resources that are already available, as the saying goes ‘ he fail to plan, had already plan to fail’.
