EPL: Mancity Came Back From A 0 - 2 down To Defeat Tottenham 4 - 0

Manchester City, a candidate for the English Premier League championship, came back against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday and defeated them 4-2 thanks to an outstanding second half performance.

To surprise Spurs, the home club, Man City, scored four goals in the second half of the game.

Dejan Kulusevski, a Swedish attacker for Tottenham, capitalized on a Rodri error in the penalty area to score the game's first goal in the 44th minute.

Another Tottenham player, Emerson Royal, scored a header in the 47th minute to give Spurs a 2-0 lead at the break.

But Man City flipped the script in front of their supporters at Etihad Stadium during the second 45 minutes.

Julian Alvarez, an Argentine attacker for the Manchester club, scored a goal for Tottenham in the 51st minute to close the margin. Erling Haaland of Norway equalized the scoring with a close-range header two minutes later.

Alvarez and Haaland's scores gave Man City hope, and they responded in the 63rd minute.

Riyad Mahrez of Algeria, a winger, made it 3-2 with a right foot shot from a tight angle that beat Hugo Lloris of Tottenham.

Mahrez once more contributed to the score.

After Tottenham defender Clement Lenglet failed to control the ball that came from Man City goalkeeper Ederson in the 90th minute, he chipped the ball over Lloris.

Mahrez, who scored twice, was awarded game's most valuable player as Man City defeated the opposition 4–2.

Man City, who is currently in second position in the Premier League with 42 points after 19 games, is now five points behind Arsenal.

Arsenal has a fantastic season, leading the Premier League with 47 points. On Sunday in London, the Gunners take on Manchester United.

With 39 points, Manchester United is third in the league standings.

Manchester City will host Wolverhampton Wanderers for the upcoming match.

With 17 points, Wolves are in 16th place.
