EPL: Nketiah's 90 minutes strike gave Arsenal a win in five-goal thriller against Man United.

Following a 3-2 victory over Manchester United at the Emirates stadium, Arsenal reclaimed a five-point lead over the competition.

Every game between now and the end of the season is critical to Arsenal's prospects of winning the title for the first time in 19 years because Manchester City, who defeated Wolves 3-0 earlier in the day to trim the gap at the top of the table to two points, is hard on their heels.

United, on the other hand, entered the match riding a nine-game winning streak and an unbeaten streak of ten games.

Soon after the quarter-hour mark, the Red Devils seized the lead thanks to a magical moment from the in-form Marcus Rashford.

The England international picked up the ball in the middle of the field, ran it through Thomas Partey's knees, set himself up, and blasted a bullet of a shot into the bottom corner.

Granit Xhaka eventually coaxed a beautiful cross into Nketiah's forehead to draw the game at 1-1 after Arsenal had replied by pushing United high up the field.

After the half, Arsenal started out quickly once more, and on minute 53, Saka curled in a beautiful low shot from 20 yards.

United stepped it up right away, picked up the pace, and earned a swift result. Soon after, Lisandro Martinez headed home his first goal for the team while standing tall.

In an effort to win, the home team hurled everything at their opponents. It appeared as though United would hold firm until Saka's deflected shot hit the post and Nketiah forced De Gea into an instinctive save.

Nketiah secured the crucial three points for arsenal with less than 60 seconds left in regulation, with a back heel.

It won't be the last classic meeting between these two up-and-coming, young teams, but right now, Arsenal is the favorite to win the title while United still has work to do.

Manchester United gave up a late goal that cost them dearly for the second time in a week. They were the victims of their own caution against Palace, choosing to sit on a one-goal advantage and getting caught out.

They were ultimately outclassed in midfield against Arsenal and without Casemiro, and the strain placed on their defense ultimately proved to be too much.
