Review that the Supreme Court in Abuja in a six-to-one judgment a few minutes prior expelled the application for audit of its January 14, 2020, judgment which evacuated Emeka Ihedioha as Imo State Governor and proclaimed Hope Uzodinma as the substantial champ of the last governorship political decision in the state.
Boss Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, in a split decision of six-to-one, depicted the application by Ihedioha managing as an encouragement to sit in an intrigue over its judgment.
In any case, the main contradicting voice among the judges, Justice Nweze while contradicting the greater part judgment, held that the Supreme Court had the ability to overrule itself in an envious circumstance.
He confirmed the Court of Appeal's choice which maintained Ihedioha's triumph, including that the peak court in the January 14, 2020 judgment wrongly pronounced Uzodima champ of the last governorship political race.
