Fire Burns Down 23 Shops In Kwara Market

Around 23 shops and merchandise accepted to worth a great many Naira were pulverized in a fire occurrence yesterday March 17 at Owode showcase in Offa, Kwara State. 


The fire allegedly began by 1a.m, anyway the appearance of firemen kept the inferno from spreading to different shops and houses in the region. 

The Head, Media and Publicity of the Kwara State Fire Service, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle who affirmed the episode said it is suspected an electric sparkle caused the occurrence. 

He said; 

"If not in light of the brisk mediation of the Fire Brigade, the debacle would have been more noteworthy. Around 23 shops were influenced because of the little postponement in contacting the Fire Brigade.
