Senator Abaribe Confronts Lawan Over Approval Of Buhari's Controversial $22.7 Billion Loan

The Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe was among the voices in the senate who requested the official to make subtleties of $22.7b credit known before its was endorsed on Thursday. 


A video which surfaced online shows that there was pressure on the floor of the Senate on Thursday following the request of the restriction legislators to know subtleties of the $22.7bn outside credit demand from the President Muhammadu Buhari. 

The Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, drew the consideration of the Senate to the peculiarity and mentioned the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, to permit a statement by proviso thought of the credit demand. 

His proposal was turned somewhere around Lawan who said the report of the board ought not be exposed to discuss, in light of the principles of the Senate.
