40 Security Men Currently Keeping Sanusi Under Watch In Nasarawa

It has been uncovered that security was on Wednesday amplified in a compund, where the Emir is being kept at Awe town in Nasarawa State. 


As indicated by a report by The PUNCH, no less than 40 security specialists, including police officers, faculty of the Department of State Services and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, were conveyed in the compound, which has three houses.

A police vehicle with number plate 3623 was left before the houses, near the royal residence of the fundamental leader of Awe Chiefdom, Alhaji Isah Umar. 

The compound, which was said to be a private structure of the Chairman of the Local Government Area, Mr Umar Abubakar, is along the street that prompts Benue State. 

The security operators turned around sympathizers who thronged the house to visit the deposed Emir. 

Two vital rulers – the Yakanajin Uke, Alhaji Ahmad Abdullai, and the Sarkin Karshi, Dr Muhammed Bako, – were among the individuals kept from visiting the dismissed Emir. 

The rulers, who found a good pace of the compound around 1:30pm, were turned around by the security men. 

The exuberant security operators likewise pursued away a group who had accumulated before the compound. They additionally annoyed columnists, who were at the door of the compound. 

The police held onto cell phones of The PUNCH and The Guardian reporters because they took photos of the houses without endorsement. The overeager security men later restored the telephones and requested that the columnists erase the photos.
