We Tried To Save Ambode, But He Wasn't Answering Our Calls - Epe Elders.

An individual from the Lagos State Governor's Advisory Council, GAC, Senator Anthony Adefuye, yesterday, uncovered how party pioneers in Lagos East Senatorial District battled to anchor the second term ticket for Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. 


Adefuye unveiled this at a compromise meeting held at CMD Shangisha in Lagos. 

Ambode Adefuye, the APC Lagos East Senatorial District Leader, stated: "Individuals blamed us for evacuating Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. 

We saw this break four months back and we chose to meet with our Lagos Central Senatorial Leader, Alhaji Tajudeen Olusi and we went to see Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. 

"We inquired as to whether there was an issue, and he said that there was an issue and he described it. 

"We prostrated and requested that he call the Ambode and talk with him. 

"We cleared out the place and begun considering the Ambode to give him a trace of the gathering, however, he didn't pick our calls. Asiwaju Tinubu said that he was not picking his calls as well. I really attempted my best. 

"We ascended to safeguard Ambode. We didn't simply pursue Asiwaju like sheep, we battled and we attempted. 

"Those of us in the East about burst into tears for the open door we lost in Lagos East. 

"I battled like there's no tomorrow to ensure that the position was not detracted from us. It was an incredible open door that we lost. 

"Anybody that isn't a gathering man ought not to be chosen into positions. Accept this guidance and ensure you don't commit a similar error."
