Akindele was charged on Monday by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission before Justice Maureen Onyetenu of a Federal High Court, Osogbo, on four tallies annoying on modification of age and requesting sex to pass her understudy.
In an announcement on Wednesday, a week ago, the ICPC said Akindele would be summoned on three charges, for acting in opposition to segments 8(1)(a)(ii), and 18 (d) under the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Act, 2000.
"That you, educator Akindele, approximately the sixteenth day of September 2017 at Ile-Ife did corruptly request sexual advantages for yourself from Ms. Monica Osagie by virtue of support to be a short time later appeared to her by you in the release of your official obligations as a teacher in the Department of Management and Accounting, Obafemi Awolowo University, to mind; adjusting her scholarly evaluations in the course with code MBA 632-Research Method from neglect to pass; and in this way dedicated an offense as opposed to and culpable under Section 8(1)(a)(ii) of the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Act," one of the charges read.
