TOWIE Star Yazmin Oukhellou Exclusively Reveals Plans To Release A House Track – And Announces She’s Returned To School

It’s been a busy time for me recently, as we’re preparing to film for the new season of TOWIE – and I can’t wait! We also filmed for a hilarious show called Evil Monkeys which aired last week, and I have to say it was brilliant to watch back....

As well as The Only Way Is Essex, I’ve got a couple of other things in the pipeline – and I couldn’t be more excited to tell you all about it.

So I don’t know if you all saw, but myself, James Lock and Bobby Norris filmed for a hilarious task show called Evil Monkeys, where we were challenged to do loads of funny tasks by a team of – you guessed it – monkeys.

I loved doing the show – it was a challenging experience, but I love doing new things. The fact that I got to experience this with my best friend and boyfriend made it even better.

We made some amazing memories, and got taken on a once in a lifetime trip to South Africa so I loved it.

The most challenging part, I’ve got to say, was being blindfolded. It had not been long since I had my nose done, so my biggest fear was being hit in the nose and having to go back for re-corrective surgery. I did get hit in the face by Bobby, but luckily it wasn’t too bad!

I have loved makeup from a young age, and always wanted to do it on the side but just never had the time to go and do the course.

If I was going to do it, I wanted to do it properly and not just learn from YouTube – I’m like this with everything. I like to be qualified!

After my first day at school, I knew this is something I want to pursue and start doing up my own clients and eventually get my own shop. I absolutely loved my first day, and cannot wait for the rest of the week.

So, I'm heading back to the studio to write some music! Singing has been my dream since I was a little girl.

I used to stand up in the middle of shops and start singing Natural Woman by Aretha Franklin whenever it came on. I think my mum has some of these embarrassing recordings somewhere.

My favourite genre is R&B and hip-hop, but I think I’m going to start with a house track. I’ve been in the studio before and I love it, so now I’ve got some time off I wanted to try and get back into it.

I will be singing myself, and hopefully it will lead to big things as this is all I have ever wanted to do.
