The Little Mix songstress, 25, took to her Instagram account to update fans on her latest medical procedure and reveal what she was doing to aid her recovery.
In the snap, she can be seen makeup free with her blonde locks scraped messily above her head, topped with a pair of sunglasses.
Explaining the scenario to her 8.2million followers, the Wings singer said: "Only I would have an operation then ask to be taken to the ivy for my favourite chocolate bomb dessert!
"My oesophagus can’t come between me and my love of food [crying with laughter emoji].”
Adding: "What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger [bicep emoji]."
Jesy Nelson’s bandmate didn't disclose the reason behind the surgery, but has spoken openly in the past about having issues with her oseophagus from childhood which left her with a scar.
Speaking to Now Magazine, Perrie said: "My [biggest body hang up] is my scar on my stomach.
"When I was little, my oesophagus was too small, so I had to get it operated on to help me eat properly.
"I had to have lots of operations, so that's why I don't want to show it."
