The birth came after a terrible 20 hour labour which resulted in the new mum, 26, being rushed for an emergency c-section.

Days later, Harriette has revealed that she is back in hospital and has “come close to death” twice since her baby's birth

Sharing a picture from her hospital room on her Instagram stories, she wrote: “Back in hospital with an infection. Told the chances are I picked it up on the operating table while having my section.

“Beyond disgusted with how I’ve been treated and my aftercare.

“Feel like I’m in a living nightmare that I just can’t wake up from.”

She later shared a picture of baby Hudson sleeping in his cot, saying that he is getting her through the ordeal.

She wrote: “Told twice in one week you have come close to death is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to try and digest.

“His little face has kept me going through some of the darkest moments.”

Before having to go to hospital, Harriette revealed that she had stepped out with her baby boy for the first time.

Six days after his arrival, the TV star took her bundle of joy for a walk in his pram, sharing a snap to Instagram.

She wrote: "Today was a big day for Baby H and I! We finally stepped out. Such a magical feeling! 6 days postpartum."
