Psychic Sally Morgan, Ryan Thomas and Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves were among those greeted by Emma Willis, with The Only Way Is Essex star Dan Osborne, 27, also announced as a 2018 housemate.
While Dan talked about many things in his audition tape, including his time on TOWIE, fans were most interested to hear what he had to say about his wife Jacqueline Jossa, after the pair were rumoured to have split earlier this year.
While the reality star remained coy about his relationship, clearly not wanting to give much away, he did give viewers at home a little more insight into his personal life.
Cheekily grinning at the camera in his video tape, Dan said: "As soon as it was out there that me and my wife had separated and had any problems, people jumped on it.
Before adding: "People are gonna write what they want, that’s up to them."
Dan's relationship with the EastEnders star was said to have hit a rocky patch while she was pregnant with their second child, two month old Mia.
While the pair briefly lived separately, with Jacqueline confirming at the time that things were "complicated" Dan is back in the family home helping to care for baby Mia and their daughter Ella, three.
Dan is also father to four year old son Teddy from a previous relationship.
Dan is appearing alongside Love Island beauty Gabby Allen on the show, just a matter of months after the pair had to deny any romantic involvement following a bootcamp in Spain.
While her ex-boyfriend, Marcel Somerville, and a host of suspicious fans believed that Dan and Gabby were having affair, both parties denied anything happened.
Speaking to new! magazine, the blonde said: “He’s just not for me. I’ll wingman him though – if he is actually single!
“Because of everything that came out, we haven’t even had the chance to be mates. It’s so s**t.”
