and it seems that royalty is no different. Footage has emerged from Charles and Camilla's tour of Canada last week, showing the couple laughing uncontrollably during a performance of traditional Inuit throat singing in Iqaluit, Canada's Arctic capital. At one point the Duchess of Cornwall, 69, had to put her hand over her mouth to stifle her giggles, while her husband, 68, appeared to be wiping his watering eyes. The visit had started on a more reserved note as Charles greeted the traditional singers, who engage in a battle to see who runs out of breath first as they make sounds with their voices and by inhaling and exhaling.
A royal biographer recently revealed that when Charles was first introduced to Camilla, he was attracted by the fact she laughed at 'the same silly things as he did'.
And
that shared sense of humour still endures more than 40 years later, as
footage of the pair laughing uncontrollably during a performance of
traditional Inuit throat singing on their recent tour of Canada shows.
A
clip has just emerged of the pair struggling to maintain their
composure as they were treated to a welcome ceremony in Iqaluit,
Canada's Arctic capital last week.
Catching
each other's eyes, the couple dissolved into fits of giggles and at one
point Camilla had to cover her mouth with her hand to stifle her
laughter.
