Amokachi Out, Okocha Major Doubt Against Brazil

 

Nigeria will be without Daniel Amokachi, who suffered a hamstring injury against Italy last night, while captain Austin ‘jay Jay’ Okocha is a major doubt for this afternoon’s Star Sixes final group game against Brazil.
‘Jay Jay’ missed the 2-1 loss to Italy as he also pulled his hamstring and he may also not be on the pitch against Brazil.
The Nigeria legend, who parade the likes of Garba Lawal, Taribo West, Uche Okechukwu, Peter Rufai, Julius Aghahowa and Yakubu Aiyegbeni, will need to beat Brazil to stand a chance of qualifying for the knockout rounds of the veterans tournament in London.

Brazil trounced China 7-0 in their own 20-minute clash last night.

They line up the likes of former AC Milan goalkeeper Dida as well as Roberto Carlos.

Kick-off at the O2 Arena in London is 1pm.
