"My significant other Paul and our whole family are crushed by the loss of our patriarch, my adored sibling, Thomas D'Alesandro III," Pelosi wrote in an announcement.
The previous civic chairman of Baltimore passed on Sunday because of stroke intricacies, as per The Baltimore Sun.
"Tommy was the best community worker I have ever known," Pelosi wrote in her announcement. "His life and initiative were a tribute to the Catholic qualities with which we were raised: confidence, family, energy. He significantly accepted, as did our folks, that open assistance was a respectable calling and that we as a whole had an obligation to help other people."
D'Alesandro filled in as the city hall leader of Baltimore from 1967 to 1971 and Pelosi portrayed him as a "victor of social liberties" and he "worked energetically for all who called Baltimore home."
