The police prosecutor, Inspector Oladoye Joshua had told the court that the accused person committed the offences at Fayemi street, Osogbo at 12:30pm.

He said that Nafisat burgled into the house of One Akindele Deborah and stole the sum of N14,500 only.
She also stole One HP Pavilion Laptop valued N45,000 only property of One Olaboopo Mubarak.
He said the offences committed contravened Section 383 and punishable under Section 412 and 390 (9) of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Volume II, Laws of Osun State, Nigeria, 2003.

Meanwhile, the accused person pleaded guilty to the two count charge preferred against her The defense counsel, Barrister Okobe Najite pleaded with the court to be merciful and temper justice with mercy, ” she has pleaded guilty and crying since she realised her mistakes,” he added.
The presiding magistrate, Mrs Adejumoke Olowolagba ordered that the accused person is hereby sentenced to six months imprisonment or pay a fine of N3,000 for substitution.
