Haute Couture Fashion Week starts in Paris, the fashion Mecca, and the schedule is record-breakingly tight this season. It features shows by 36 fashion houses, 5 of which (A.F. Vandevorst, Azzaro, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte and Ronald van der Kemp) are debuting as Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week participants.
Most significantly, not only fall/winter 2017-2018 collections but ready-to-wear collections for the upcoming spring/summer will be shown at Paris runways.
Dutch designer Ronald van der Kemp and his same-name brand will open the Fashion Week, then American duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez (Proenza Schouler) will pick up the torch and show their ready-to-wear spring/summer 2018 and resort 2018 collections.

Then, Mulleavy sisters (Rodarte) will come from New York to show their ready-to-wear collections.

Debut show by Peter Dundas, former Emilio Pucci and Roberto Cavalli creative director, is one of the most anticipated events of the fashion week. On July, 2, the designer will introduce his own brand called Dundas to the fashion world. It’s already known that the collection includes 20 evening and cocktail dresses which can be acquired starting from July, 7. There was a teaser, a post in the official Instagram account of the brand – a photo featuring top model Natasha Poly wearing a bright pink sequins-spangled dress. Quite a flying start!
