Last month, she revealed that she suffered a depression battle after gaining back a stone of the initial weight she had shed after embarking on a fitness regime.

But Frankie Essex, 28, looked svelter than ever as she slipped into a tiny blue bikini while on holiday in Spain on Sunday.

The former TOWIE star showcased her flat stomach and toned figure in the skimpy two piece, and looked happy and healthy as she relaxed by the pool.

Frankie sported a bronzed complexion to further highlight her slim frame, and worked her blonde tresses up into a ponytail.

She has long been an advocate of the gym, and displayed her shapely, toned pins in the bikini.

The reality star displayed her naturally good looks by going make-up free, but maintained her signature defined arched brows.

Frankie recently told The Sun that time spent in the gym helps keep her depression at bay, but she has been unable to run since damaging her knee.

She explained: 'I've put on a stone. Not being able to go gym - you eat and it makes me a bit depressed.'

Discussing how her body has changed since her knock, she added: 'It's horrible and it's a bit depressing. I'm swollen. My whole body is swollen.' Frankie also revealed that a doctor recommended she take anti-depressants.

The blonde bombshell also revealed what her secret was to shedding the weight in the first place and admitted that she found it difficult to give up ketchup among other sauces to reach her goal weight.
