Within 5 years of working for Delpozo, Josep Font firmly inscribed the bright clear colors and architectural cuts into the DNA of the Spanish fashion house. There is no secret at all – being an architect by profession, Josep often draws inspiration from his famous colleagues.
This time, for example, he turned to the works by sculptor Max Bill, who is a fan of simple forms. As to the new collection’s color palette, this is a reference to the works by Hungarian postmodern artist József Rippl-Rhône.
At the same time, jackets, capes and coats with turn-down collars and voluminous rounded shoulders are a quote of maestro Cristobal Balenciaga, whose work has had a great influence on the Spanish designer.

Josep Front counterbalanced the simple shapes with a complex, thoroughly executed décor and an unusual, but harmonious combination of stripes and floral prints. It’s obvious that the Delpozo fall-winter collection has some elements of the 60s with their love of Space – here come the futuristic headgears, lurex, and fluorescent shades. Bravo, Josep Font!
