 This is a show that requires imagination.. Also remember this is HIS interpretation and thank god he has an imagination. You guys tend to get lost in what Balenciaga WAS. His job is to take bits and pieces and make it his vision... He took 3 things Balenciaga is known for..draping, tailoring, and exaggeration of shapes or silhouettes. The exaggeration would be the shoulders which I'm sure are removable, the pant/boot, the exaggerated square toe boots, the oversized bags, and the cinched waist belts. You can find different draping techniques in several of the blouses and dresses. Then the tailoring is pretty evident..Then menswear pieces as well as the matching floral sets....
