The AGN Lagos Chairman noted that the theme “Exploring new opportunities in the Nigerian Movie Industry was chosen to draw attention to new opportunities that abound in the motion picture industry and how it will help engender growth and development.
According to Don Pedro Aganbi, the Lagos Actors Week is a the 7-day extravaganza that will feature the following; Walk4life, Capacity building workshop for actors, woven with Business Summit and Expo, one-on-one career counseling sessions, panel discussions, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) day, Cultural carnival, Nollywood Veterans cocktail party and sports.
Aganbi noted that the Lagos Actors Week is also a revolutionary platform for the government, private sector, business community and foreign missions to chart a course for the future of the Nigerian Actor cum the Motion Picture Industry with in-depth discussions and networking focusing on top business issues in movie making and entertainment at large.
The AGN Lagos Chairman remarked that participants at the high-octane Lagos Actors Week event includes the business community, movie marketers, producers, writers, cinematographers, students, government agencies, media, financial institutions, corporate community, foreign missions among others.
The Lagos Actors Week which is billed to commence from October 2 to 8 at the prestigious Ojez event center in Lagos is expected to be declared open by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
