Police Arrest Three For Stealing Female Pants In Lagos, Ogun

Agents of the Lagos and Ogun states police directions have captured three suspects for supposedly taking female jeans.
 

The police in Lagos captured two of the suspects – Friday Emmanuel and Obiora Nwabueze – in the Mile 2 region of the state. 

The state police representative, DSP Bala Elkana, in an announcement on Wednesday, said the suspects were captured after they had a contradiction over the jeans. 

He stated, "Agents of the Lagos State Police Command, Satellite division, on Saturday, April 20, 2019, captured two speculates who gave their names as of Friday Emmanuel, 21; and Obiora Nwabueze, 29, at the Mile 2 under scaffold while at one another's throats.

 The two suspects were captured after they connected each other in fisticuffs following the disappointment of one of the gatherings to keep to the terms of understanding with respect to the taking of the jeans. 

"As per Emmanuel, Nwabueze requested that he take utilized female jeans for a charge of N30,000. Be that as it may, after he had effectively achieved the undertaking, Nwabueze reneged on his guarantee and commandingly endeavored to take the jeans from him, which prompted a trade of blows. 

"Amid cross-examination, the said Emmanuel lamented tuning in to his companion, who he guaranteed hassled him to get the female clothing he (Nwabueze) urgently expected to wind up rich." 

Elkana said the two suspects had been charged under the watchful eye of a judges' court for the scheme and taking. 

The police in Ogun said a youngster, Tasiu Shaibu, was captured for taking some jeans having a place with one Miss Taiwo Oladipupo. 

The suspect was asserted to have expelled the jeans from the line where it was spread to dry and place it in his pocket. 

The shout of Oladipupo's folks was said to have pulled in neighbors, who got the suspect, gathered the jeans and gave him over to the police. 

He was charged on Wednesday under the steady gaze of a judge's court in Isabo Abeokuta. 

The police examiner, Inspector Olu-Balogun Lawrence, told the court that the respondent submitted the offense on December 20, 2018, around 1.30pm on Baase-Owe compound, Oke-Iro, in the Abeokuta North Local Government Area of the state. 

The examiner stated, "The offense is in opposition to and culpable under Section 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Ogun State, 2006." 

The respondent argued not liable to the one tally of taking. 

The Magistrate, Olakulehin Oke, allowed him to safeguard in the aggregate of N50,000 with one surety in like total. 

Oke said the surety must dwell inside the court's purview and must show proof of assessment installment to the state government. 

The case was deferred till May 3, 2019, for preliminary.
