How about forming your own sense of style that expresses something about you. I think that's what separates people with a legit fashion sense and those just following trends. The former seems and feels authentic and true to the person behind the clothes. While the latter seems shallow and unoriginal. And also brand names don't matter. I often find some nice ass clothes at thrift shops. Money is not really an issue here unless you think it is. Just be creative with your fashion sense and you'll be fresh. Just my two cents...
