According to them, a breast and a hand go for N5 million.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Gbenga Adeyanju, paraded the two men and 15 other suspected armed robbers, cultists and murderers at the state Police Command Headquarters on Igbatoro Road, Akure.
Adenitire, Fasanu and a herbalist, Abdulrafiu Tijani, were arrested in connection with the killing for ritual of two female students of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, Miss Blessing Oladepo and Miss Mary Oluwasemilore.
Oladepo and Oluwasemilore had earlier been declared missing while their whereabouts were unknown until their decomposing bodies were found in the bush.
Adenitire said he was part of the people Oladepo, Oluwasemilore and one other person and severed their breasts and left hands which they sold to Tijani, a herbalist at Ore in Odigbo Local Government Area.
He said: “I was in my house when Fisayo Fasanu ‘Abore’ told me he had a business. He said they wanted to do a ritual. I told him that what they wanted to do was powerful. He said there was no problem.
“The second day, about 9.30p.m., we went for the job, two boys and one girl. We took the two girls into the bush; they removed their left breasts and left hands which they took to herbalists. We left the other parts in the bush.”
Fasanu said one of their friends known as Sile, was the person who introduced them into the ‘business’ of ritual killing.
He said: “We had a friend known as Sile, he said a breast and a hand were sold for N5 million. He was the one that took the parts to herbalists in Ije-Igbo in Ogun State and Ore in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.”
Fasanu said they had not collected their share of the N15 million before policemen arrested them. He said the ring leader, Sile, had not been seen since they were arrested.
The herbalist, Tijani, however, said he did not partake in the crime.
According to him, he was in his house when the police arrested him in connection with the ritual killing.
The police boss also said that 15 persons were arrested for various crimes such as armed robbery, murder, unlawful possession of firearms and cultism in different parts of the state.
Adeyanju said those arrested would be charged to court soon.
