The second day of the Paris Fashion Week was marked by Dries Van Noten anniversary show which happened to be the 100th presentation of the Belgian designer. To celebrate this occasion, Dries Van Noten threw a real parade of top models of all ages.
Amber Valletta, Nadja Auermann, Liya Kebede, Sasha Pivovarova, Caroline De Maigret, Vlada Roslyakova and many other long-legged beauties walked the runway. Not only A-list models but the collection in general reminded us of the good old days. The designer addressed his archives, or, to be specific, the legendary Dries Van Noten prints that include flowers, Japanese motifs, graphics, op art and patchwork.
This time, Dries Van Noten decided to place these prints on some power dressing style outfits with an eighties vibe. Oversize suits, broad-shouldered jackets, huge coats, turtlenecks, denim and fur, both colored and natural, are surely the must-haves of the next fall.
