A former Special Adviser on New Media to ex-President Goodluck
Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has described the President Muhammadu Buhari-led
Federal Government as “hypocritical.”
Omokri, a fierce critic of the current Federal Government made the
remark while condemning the call for the reformation of the UN by the
Nigerian government.
In a series of tweets via his social media handle, the former
Presidential aide wondered why the Buhari-led government will make such a
call while “fighting restructuring at home.”
According to Omokri, “The Muhammadu Buhari administration is so
hypocritical. How can they be calling for the reformation of the UN and
fighting restructuring at home?”
The former Presidential aide also faulted Buhari’s failure to visit
victims of the Benue flood despite travelling to New York and London.
“Has Benue flood dried? Why can’t President Buhari use the same
energy he used to visit Daura, New York & London to visit Benue
Flood victims?,” he wrote.
