Men of Katsina State Police Command, yesterday, shot dead
one robber in a shootout with an eight-man gang of robbers...
This came as the
Command also arrested a man, Raba, who was parading himself as a soldier. The
state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Gambo Isah, who confirmed the
development, said the robber met his Waterloo, when “today (yesterday), at
about 2a.m., robbers, numbering about eight, came out from Dajin Mari Forest,
Dandume, Katsina State, and invaded the village of Tumburkai, Dandume, shooting
sporadically, trying to get access to the house of one Alhaji Sufiyanu.”
