Justina Nkom, (Lamurde Constituency), the Chief Whip,  Isa Yahya, (Maiha Constituency) and  the Deputy Majority Leader, Muhammed Mutawalli, who is representing Girei constituency.
The lawmakers followed up their action by immediately electing Emmanuel Tsamdu, Madagali state constituency, as the new Deputy Speaker.
While Hassan Barguma, (Hong constituency), Lumsambani Dilli, (Demsa State constituency) and Abubakar Isa, (Shelleng), took over the reins of the offices of the Majority Leader, Minority Leader and Chief Whip, respectively.
