A
total of 185 police officers in Anambra state command have benefited
from the recent promotion of Senior Police Officers on the
recommendation of Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, as
approved by the Police Service Commission...
The
newly decorated officers comprised of 3 Chief Superintendents, 10
Superintendents and 172 Assistant Superintendents of Police
respectively.
Congratulating
the officers, the State Commissioner of Police, Garba Baba Umar, urged
them to put more efforts in discharging their duties of promoting safety
and security in the state and the nation at large.
He
expressed appreciation to the IGP for giving personnel welfare a top
priority in his administration, charging the newly promoted staff to
reciprocate the gesture done to them by rededicating themselves to duty.
