~ HEROIN
Heroin is
an opioid painkiller also prescribed as an analgesic, cough suppressant and as
an antidiarrhoeal. It is also a highly addictive and an illegal drug used by
millions of drug addicts around the globe. Heroin is an opiate gotten from the
processed extracts of the opium poppy. It was initially created to help cure
people who are addicted to morphine. When it crosses the blood-brain barrier
after the introduction of the drug into the bloodstream, heroin is converted
into morphine, and this mimics the effects of endorphin, creating a sense of
euphoria described as an “orgasm”. One of the most common methods of using
heroin is through intravenous injection.
~COCAINE
It Also
known as benzoylmethylecgonine or coke, Cocaine is a strong stimulant obtained
from the leaves of the coca plant. It stimulates the central nervous system and
also serves as an appetite suppressant, leading to what has been described as a
euphoric sense of highness and increased energy. It is most often used
recreationally for this effect. Cocaine is a potent central nervous system
stimulant. Its effects can last from 20 minutes to several hours, depending on
the dosage of drug taken, its purity, and the method used in administering it.
The immediate signs of stimulation are hyperactivity, restlessness, increased
heart blood pressure, increased heart rate and a feeling of happiness. The most
common methods of administering cocaine are snorting, inhaling and injecting
into the veins.
~METHAMPHETAMIME
It Popularly shortened to meth or ice, Methamphetamine, is a
psychostimulant and sympathomimetic drug that goes into the brain and causes
the brain to release norepinephrine, dopamine and serotonin causing euphoria
and excitement, it is a good candidate for abuse and addiction. Users of this
drug may become obsessed with tasks such as cleaning things, hand-washing or
arranging and rearranging objects. it is often followed by anxiety and the
craving for more drugs. Withdrawal from this drug is often characterised by too

~Opium
Opium is a
pitchy narcotic processed from the latex released by scoring the young seed
pods of opium poppies (Papaver somniferum). This contains up to 16% morphine
which is an opiate alkaloid, which is mostly produced chemically to produce
heroin for illegal drug trade around the world. Opium has gradually been
replaced by a variety of more purified, semi-synthetic, and synthetic opioids
with moderately stronger effect, and by other regular anaesthesia. This process
started in 1817 when Friedrich Wilhelm Adam Sertürner reported that pure
morphine from opium should be isolated after about thirteen years of research
and a nearly disastrous trial on himself and three other boys.

is the herbal form and a psychoactive product of the plant Cannabis sativa. Man
has been consuming cannabis since prehistory but in the 20th century, there was
a rise in the use of cannabis for recreational, spiritual, and also medicinal
purposes. A good percentage of the world’s adult population use cannabis every
day. It has a psychoactive effect when consumed and gives a sense of excessive
strength and highness. The method of administration is usually by smoking or
ingestion. The extent of intoxication due to cannabis consumption lies on
factors such as potency, dose, chemical composition and method of consumption
