At the meeting which is still ongoing, President Buhari ordered the governors to pay their workers all outstanding salaries before the Christmas break.
He has also directed the Ministers of Finance, Kemi Adeosun and the Minister of Budget & National Planning, Udoma Udo Udoma and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria cbn, Godwin Emefiele, to commence negotiations with the Governors Forum to enable payment of outstanding Paris & London Club refunds, before the end of the year.
