Uniqueness
Bua Tong Sticky Waterfalls is unique among the hundreds of places in Northern Thailand. To begin with, the waterfalls receive water from a calcium-rich spring at the top. The spring flows down over the boulders of the waterfalls. This makes the waterfalls to feel and look sticky as they give a person the ability to grip over with bare feet. It is therefore very easy to ascend and descend the Bua Tong waterfalls without slipping off. The waterfalls have three levels. At each level, people can sit and enjoy the surroundings. Different levels also offer unique climbing experiences. The rocks are almost creamy white and they give a wonderful contrast to the green trees. There are no places to swim, but people can cool off from the hot sun by sitting in the pools found below the waterfalls.Tourism
