She has always been candid about her body battles.

And Lauren Goodger again drew attention to her frame as she took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a throwback snap to her incredibly slender figure, in a snap she revealed was taken while she was 'gym obsessed'.

The 30-year-old former TOWIE star posed in just her knickers and a tight vest top in the stunning snap, posted just weeks after she revealed her jailbird boyfriend Joey Morrisson has demanded she slim down her curves.

Lauren, who says she is a size 12 now, said that maintaining the strict diet and fitness regime she followed while doing her 2014 weight loss DVD made her 'miserable'.

Admitting she's 'scared' about putting on more weight, she said: 'I don't know what else to do. Go back to the gym, diet, and hate my life?'

Despite this sentiment, she shared a snap showing her body from that stage in her life in which she flaunted an incredibly slim frame with muscular legs.

She added a caption on the snap reading: 'Wow looking back some my pics when I was gym obsessed!!!! #gym #training #abs #legmuscles #sweeps'.

Last month, Lauren admitted she wants a gastric band fitted - after her jailbird boyfriend Joey called for her to slim down to a size 8 again.

She admitted that Joey says she is 'beautiful' but because he is always exercising in prison, he wants her to do the same.

The size 12 star also rubbished claims that she and the convict had split up, as she insisted she 'can't wait' to have babies with him.

She told Closer magazine: 'Joey always tells me I'm beautiful, but he knew me when I was my slimmest and a size 8. He says: "Why can't you get back to that again?" '

Lauren added that Joey, who she has been dating since April 2016, doesn't realise it is harder for woman to lose weight as 'we have more body fat'.

She also said that she wants Lauren to start exercising more like he does in jail.

The reality star added that she is tired of fluctuating from a size 8 to a 14 and thinks having surgery is the only way to keep her weight down for good because dieting makes her miserable.

Lauren finds it tricky to lose weight because she feels like she'd have to stop socialising to stick to a diet - and sees liposuction or a gastric band as a last resort.

'I'm sick of yo-yoing. I know I can have the best body. I'm curvy and go in and out in the right places but I just need that head start,' she said.

Lauren also rubbished claims that she had split from Joey, after sources claimed she was 'letting her hair down' after their break up.

Insiders had previously told The Sun: 'Lauren has told all her mates she is single - she said she has finished with Joey and that the relationship is over.

'It didn’t really come as a shock to anyone because people know it wasn't exactly the perfect relationship for her to be in - in fact, we're completely relieved it's all over.

'She was really letting her hair down and it was nice to see her back to her usual self.'

Meanwhile, after finding herself subject to more cruel taunts from trolls about her curvaceous figure - Lauren hit back at the jibes, tweeting in response: 'Give me a break.'

In a now deleted Twitter post, the reality star, 30, shared a selfie taken after her previous weight loss and claimed that regardless of her size, she never manages to keep her critics at bay.
